This is the third week I’m entering the Dutch goes the Photo! Tuesday Photo Challenge and I think it’s gonna be here on the blog for a while!
So, for today’s challenge, we were asked to share our dark work. I don’t have many of purposely dark photos, because I find it very difficult to obtain the visual result that want from the picture, because I don’t have the experience to manage the location/ even my own camera. Despite doing some workshops on photography, I experience by myself so I still have a long way to come.
So, the entry for this challenge is a photograph that I took on a very specific project. My friend had to make a short film last summer (2016) for her Film School Master Degree, and I helped by being the Photography Department. The film is called Time(less) and this is a waiting scene on a restaurant:
I was trying to make some beautiful shots playing with the candle. It was my first time working on low light set and exploring my camera features it that way. It’s not very high quality for my standards, the picture became too grainny by the stupid amount of ISO that I used, but that’s how you learn and get better!
What did you think of this challenge? Are you entering? Let me know on the comments!
See you soon*
